A few days ago, it was my wife’s birthday – I won’t say what age because she doesn’t count any more. But she was delighted when a couple of her friends arrived to give her some birthday presents – all bought from a shop in Southport, called Vintage Home. The presents were really special, they were a bit different to the normal “store bought” gift, and fit in well with our home. But as well as that, they were wrapped individually by Jill at Vintage Home, in her own attractive style, complete with gift tags. My wife was thrilled. Not just with the presents, but with the fun of opening the attractively wrapped gifts. Ok, she was pleased also with the Mario Cart for Wii that I bought her, but even I had to acknowledge that getting a birthday present wrapped in supermarket gift paper isn’t quite the same birthday experience as opening a gift individually wrapped by Jill at Vintage Home!!!
So….if you are looking for something a bit different, a bit special, visit Vintage Homes in Wayfarers Arcade on Lord Street. The website says: “Vintage Home is a new and totally unique home furnishings shop, positioned in a Victorian Arcade off Lord Street, Southport. We offer a nostalgic mix of both new and vintage items, specialising in period style furnishings to bring character and personality to your home, or make uniquely individual gifts.”
Well, it’s certainly well worth a visit. You can find more details about Vintage Home on Southport On The Web, in our Business Directory.
